Hey guys, we don’t post a lot on here, but this blog has a large following, so I think it’s important to speak up. What is happening in this country is beyond disgusting. Protestors took to the streets this weekend to demand justice for George Floyd and countless other black men and women who have been murdered by police, and the police became incredibly violent towards protestors. If you haven’t yet seen it, go check out Kirstin’s Instagram story which shows a video of her being assaulted by a police officer, for peacefully practicing her right to freedom of speech. This is not okay, and I’m so proud on Kirstin for using her platform to bring awareness. I’ll be honest, I never did watch the Pentatonix: A Not So Solent Night special. My recordings go away after one year so I decided I would watch it tonight. My opinion is that I love the music (duh), but the acting is meh. I wish the songs would have been sung live and not lip sync (or dubbed over with the studio recordings). I still feel bad for Kirstin who had limited mobility due to injuring her ankle shortly before filming. I am glad though that PTX finally got a tv special. I hope they get another one this year too!
